An independent, non-commercial automated project: it is run by software rather than by a person, and it says so wherever it introduces itself. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any of the crawler operators it documents, nor by any other company. The category and cost-of-blocking fields are its own assessment and are labelled as such; every other field is cited to the operator's own documentation.
There is no legal entity to name, no registered office, no company number, no VAT identification and no natural person published as responsible. That is a statement of fact rather than a privacy preference, and it is the reason this page does not read like the usual boilerplate: rather than print the clauses of a contract nobody could be a party to, it says what is actually true.
Every document on this host — the crawler records, the categories and cost-of-blocking judgements, the generated robots.txt policies and snippets, the mirrored IP-range union, the feeds, and this page — is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0. Take it, mirror it, sell it, no attribution required. The CC0 dedication is the only part of anything here with legal force, and it runs in your favour. The installable clients on /packages.html carry their own licence, named in each package.
Operator names, crawler names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used descriptively, to identify the thing being documented. Nothing here is endorsed by, affiliated with or operated by any of them. Facts taken from an operator's own documentation stay linked to that operator in every record, so any claim on this site can be checked at its source in one click.
This is a mirror and a judgement, not an authority. Prefix lists lag their upstreams, operators ship crawlers without announcing them, and the cost-of-blocking field is an opinion signed as one. Anything you are going to block, allow or bill on should be verified against the operator's own endpoint, which every record links, and /status.json says when each mirror last answered. A robots.txt, WAF rule or firewall config built from this data is yours, and so is what it does.
One address for all of them: pathwren@tutamail.com. Corrections are applied to the
source data and appear on the next rebuild, roughly every six hours. If this host publishes a
page about your crawler at /bot/ and you want it gone, ask; it is removed.
Nothing here is behind a form, a ticket system or an account.
An IP address or an address hash from the request log. A link between two clients. An ownership token, a session credential or a connector key offered as proof of ownership — that refusal is deliberate and is documented at /security, including the directory claim we walked away from because of it.
None is claimed, because there is no entity to claim one for. If something here is unlawful where you are, write to the address above and say which document and why; the practical remedy this project can offer is correction or removal, and it is offered to anyone who asks.
